About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our team. As a critical member of our squad, you will work closely with cross-functional consultants to provide advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client workshops to elicit business requirements and document user stories.
  • Work with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and Technical Architects to design solutions centered on the Salesforce platform.
  • Take ownership of project initiatives from Discovery through to Delivery.
  • Design detailed to-be process maps and present desired future state solution roadmaps that deliver clear measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure project deliverables are submitted and follow the prescribed governance and approval processes in a timely manner.
  • Participate in engagement planning, dependency identification, and management as well as estimation with Project Managers.
  • Provide knowledge transfers/handovers to Salesforce delivery teams to ensure implementation success.
  • Support architects with Salesforce solutioning and documentation.
  • Influence management decisions across organizational boundaries.
  • Maintain Salesforce ecosystem knowledge with up-to-date understanding of the platform and its capabilities.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of relevant experience as a Functional Consultant/Salesforce Consultant.
  • Healthcare and/or aged care industry experience.
  • Salesforce Health Cloud experience and accreditation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with C-Level executives.
  • Competent technical background with strong computer skills.
  • Ability to take business and technical concepts of varying levels of detail and transform them into understandable artefacts.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrate experience and a passion for new technologies and industry trends.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously.
  • Passion for solving client challenges and commitment to client delight.
