Team Leader for Senior Support Services

About the Role

This dynamic leadership position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors. As the Team Leader for Senior Support Services, you will lead a team in delivering essential support services through various programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Coordinate Service Delivery: Ensure seamless delivery of services in line with contracts and budgets.
  • Implement Processes and Procedures: Comply with reforms and aged care quality standards by implementing necessary processes.
  • Promote Senior Support Services: Increase awareness and engagement among seniors through effective promotional strategies.
  • Build Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with local NGOs, health professionals, and community groups to enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate Team Processes: Streamline client service agreements, onboarding, assessments, referrals, and address service gaps.
  • Recruit and Coordinate Service Volunteers: Attract and manage volunteers to support service delivery.

Requirements
  • Diploma of Community Services: Hold a Diploma of Community Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in team leadership and management.
  • Strong Aged Care Background: Possess a strong background in aged care service delivery.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills: Exhibit excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate: Hold a current driver's licence and first aid certificate.
