Aged and Home Care Worker Job Description

This role involves providing care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and well-being. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Support clients with meal preparation and cooking
  • Assist with shopping, appointments, and social activities
  • Delve into respite care and community engagement activities

Requirements:

Necessary Skills and Qualifications
  • Completed a minimum certificate III in a health-related field (e.g., Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
  • Willingsness to perform cleaning duties as part of the role
  • Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
  • Smart phone
  • Current Driver's Licence
