Cultivating Independence: Mental Health Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support individuals with mental health issues, providing daily living assistance and promoting social, vocational, and living skills.
This role involves working closely with participants to develop their independence, confidence, and self-sufficiency.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work flexibly, use evidence-based approaches, and provide emotional and crisis support when needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting participants in attending peer and other support groups.
- Providing safe access to the community and supporting individuals in building relationships with their care team and families.
- Offering emotional and crisis support, as well as access to other support services.
- Developing daily living abilities and using a person-centred approach to maximise independence and confidence.
