Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in our Acute Medical Unit and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Cardiac experience is desired, however training will be provided to the right candidate. Ward 4B is a fast-paced and dynamic place to work with plenty of opportunity for learning and progression.
The successful candidate will work within a supportive team of dedicated nurses, and multidisciplinary team, providing quality, evidenced based care. Opportunities to rotate to Cath/Intervention Lab and Intensive Care Unit have been offered previously to 4B staff for ward-based upskilling potential.
Further, tertiary qualifications can be undertaken via the UTAS program, 4B/ CCU also offer dedicated Coronary Care and Cardiothoracic intensive study days.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 to 2 years in an Acute hospital setting experience is essential
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and patient focused
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $49.79 per hour.
