Job Opportunity:

The Medical Assessment Unit at a major metropolitan hospital is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join their multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality care to patients.


This acute care unit provides short-term treatment for patients who require rapid assessment, diagnostics and early treatment.


Patients can be referred from various sources, including the Emergency Department, clinics, consultant rooms and General Practitioners.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care using an individualized approach related to the patient's goals of care.
  • Work under both direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse, with opportunities for autonomy and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the registered nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with your level of competence and within policy guidelines.


Requirements:
  • A current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, with a focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
