Event Manager - Canberra

This role requires representing the construction industry and facilitating conferences and events that are innovative, educative, and exciting.

Delivering annual awards and monthly chapter events is a key aspect of this position. You will develop and deliver marketing collateral for the organisation's website and social channels, and be responsible for end-to-end event processes.

  • Liaising with stakeholders to manage education/student awards across Australia.
  • Processing nominations, certificates, and prizes.
  • Managing the Awards website, updates, articles, and notices.
  • Organising Award Dinners, including attending events, marketing, planning.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in Event Management and Marketing. You must be confident and accountable in managing all aspects of events and stakeholders/vendors involved from registration to post-event activities.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Delivering large-scale conferencing and events on time.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Liaising with vendors and developing business orders.
  • Creating effective marketing collateral.
