Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

A key role in our team involves delivering secure, reliable web and application hosting environments. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Provide expert technical guidance on cloud platform capabilities and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across hosting services and operations

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud computing, security, and infrastructure management to design and implement robust hosting solutions. You will also contribute to ongoing service improvements, collaborating closely with colleagues to identify areas for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain cloud servers and hosting platforms—primarily Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

Application Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of web applications, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting performance and security issues.

Security and Compliance: Administer SSL certificates, monitor system alerts, and oversee resource planning and scalability to ensure the highest level of security and compliance.

Change Management: Lead proactive security measures, including embedded controls and participation in security assessments, and initiate and manage changes in accordance with organizational protocols.

Documentation and Collaboration: Contribute to the creation and refinement of service standards, procedures, and technical documentation, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, communicating effectively to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud infrastructure administration, extensive knowledge of AWS and Azure, and solid understanding of security principles and best practices.

A well-developed ability to work collaboratively across teams, coordinate tasks, and drive service delivery is essential. Effective written and oral communication skills developed through client engagement, networking, and product development are also required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with DevOps practices, agile methodologies, and source code revision control like Git or SVN. Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes is also desirable.
