Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end electrical project delivery from design through to commissioning.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading complex brownfield upgrades for iconic clients in the energy, mining, and heavy industry sectors.
  • Managing a team of Electrical Project Engineers and mentoring junior team members.
  • Developing and reviewing engineering documentation to meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Supporting procurement, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to drive successful outcomes.
  • Participating in risk reviews, design workshops, and Safety in Design processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (CPEng eligibility ideal).
  • 5+ years of experience in brownfield infrastructure projects, preferably in energy, generation, or heavy industry.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience guiding engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering governance.
