This role involves contributing to a pool of candidates for fixed-term or permanent positions with flexible working hours, offering opportunities for extension and/or permanency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain professional competence as per national standards and registration requirements.
- Deliver high-quality patient care through comprehensive assessments and collaborative care planning with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate team meetings to ensure timely patient discharge and aged care reviews.
- Lead clinical handovers and safety discussions to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Provide supervision and support to enrolled nurses and unregulated staff, ensuring effective task delegation.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to audits and reviews that enhance patient and staff experiences.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in acute, emergency, and aged care settings.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in team leadership and clinical escalation.
- Strong background in quality improvement and risk management.
- Competent in using technology to enhance patient care and communication.
- Up-to-date knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to nursing practice.
