About the Opportunity

The Victorian Government is upgrading the Eastern Freeway with new express lanes, new traffic management technology and Melbourne's first dedicated busway. These changes will slash travel times and improve public transport in Melbourne's east.

Our Scope of Work

We are part of the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance with Major Road Projects Victoria, Symal, Arcadis and WSP. Our scope of work includes a new interchange connecting the Eastern Freeway to the North East Link tunnels, major road and bridge upgrades between Burke Road and Tram Road, smart traffic management technology upgrades and new noise protection to meet Victoria's toughest traffic noise standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join us on the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a professional along the Project / Engineering Management pathway to expand their knowledge and skills on a major infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Critical thinking and complex problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to personnel regardless of seniority
  • Demonstrated experience with stakeholder coordination
  • Positive relationship building with multidisciplinary teams; design, construction, and stakeholders
  • Broad interdisciplinary knowledge of engineering and project management principles
  • Attention to detail and innovative 'outside the box' thinking
  • Drives a continuous 'results oriented' learning culture

About You

  • Degree in an Engineering, Project Management or Science related disciplines preferred but not necessary
  • 3-5 years experience across infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous
