Personal Care Assistant / Domestic Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to our clients in the community.

Duties may include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and support to clients, promoting independence and well-being
  • Preparing nutritious meals while adhering to strict food handling safety guidelines, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Maintaining health and safety standards at all times, creating a safe environment for clients
  • Assisting with transportation and daily living tasks, enhancing client mobility and quality of life
  • Offering companionship and emotional support, observing changes in client health or status, and reporting accordingly
  • Providing domestic support and household assistance, maintaining a clean and comfortable living space for clients
  • Cleaning duties, including floors, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, dishes, ironing, and changing bed sheets and towels

About you:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues
  • Able to work independently and reliably, managing time and priorities effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable, committed to varied shifts and responding to changing client needs
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher is preferred, demonstrating a high level of expertise and commitment to the field
  • A valid police clearance is required, less than 2 years old, ensuring a safe working environment for clients
