Job Summary

As a Principal Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert engineering input into the development of engineering designs and project coordination of transport infrastructure capital projects to meet the needs of the community.

  • conceptualize, design, and deliver road upgrades and other transportation infrastructure projects
  • review and provide feedback on civil engineering design plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
  • certify engineering designs and ensure they are fit for purpose and value for money

  • providing technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
  • developing and implementing effective solutions to complex transportation challenges
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain within first 12 months of employment
  • a Current C-Class Driver's Licence
