Business Development Lawyer

As a junior lawyer, you will provide fast and accurate legal support and advice to the business. Your focus will be on supporting large sales and procurement teams across Australia and New Zealand.
You will work closely with senior business leaders, providing them with trusted legal guidance on key transactions, contracts, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide commercial legal advice on buy- and sell-side commercial contracts
- Draft commercial agreements, including sales agreements, procurement agreements, and supply contracts
- Advise on general legal matters, including compliance with Australian Consumer Law
- Liaise with external law firms and legal service providers
- Monitor legislative changes impacting the company
- Assist with legal compliance, training, and reporting
Key Requirements:
- Admitted to practice as a Solicitor in New South Wales with 1 to 2 years post-admission commercial experience gained at a leading law firm or corporate legal team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business
- A strong commercial aptitude and ability to recognize and respond to commercial needs of the business and our customers
