Job Title: Senior Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

Seeking a seasoned data center infrastructure expert to oversee and maintain the integrity, security, and efficiency of our data center infrastructure.

About the Role:
  • Lead the management and maintenance of all aspects of the data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and related hardware and software components.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute data center expansion, upgrades, and migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, policies, and procedures related to data center operations and IT infrastructure.
  • Provide occasional end-user support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with system configuration and setup as needed.
  • Maintain backups and disaster recovery strategy to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Undergraduate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator with a focus on data center operations in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, Mac).
  • Expertise in network infrastructure design, configuration, and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with data center technologies such as SAN/NAS storage, blade servers, data replication, Cohesity and Veeam.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
