About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Educator to join our team at Penrith City Council. As a Child Care Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 12 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our educational leaders in coordinating activities and programs to create a learning environment for our children
  • Assist in implementing programming tailored to children's needs and developmental milestones
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and the community
  • Maintain records and documents related to children's attendance, behaviour, and developmental milestones
Requirements
  • Experience and passion for working with children in a childcare setting
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Working with Children Check (WWC)
  • Current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR (HLTAID004 / HLTA012)
  • Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
  • Team player, contributing and upholding organisational values
