Role Responsibilities

We are excited to announce a new opportunity within our Products team due to internal mobility. As a Product Manager, you will report to the Capability Manager and collaborate closely with a central project team. Your role will involve engaging with a variety of key stakeholders, including category teams, central Centers of Excellence, and digital teams, playing a crucial role in executing innovative trials in stores as part of a broader strategic initiative.

Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Overseeing the governance of Smarter Clearance, including preparing Steering Committee packs and providing monthly updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with category managers, coordinators, supply planners, and space planners to facilitate the large-scale rollout of smarter clearance.
  • Assisting in the iterative development of business cases and stakeholder engagement aligned with the technology roadmap.
  • Creating a prioritized roadmap for enhanced data and reporting, and conveying requirements to the Commercial Data team for dashboards and reporting.
  • Leading the communication and engagement strategy with the Range & Space team, promoting visibility and utilization of dashboards and reporting.
  • Documenting business processes and ensuring they remain up-to-date.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Coles in launching cutting-edge technology for our customers.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Experience in project management or agile delivery is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a large retail, fast-paced, or FMCG environment is beneficial.
  • Expertise in process improvement or change management within large, complex organizations.
  • Proficiency in implementing new tools and capabilities to enhance business processes.
  • Competence in developing and executing training plans, with the ability to deliver to diverse team members.
  • Technical aptitude to effectively communicate with technology teams.
  • A strong drive, initiative, and the ability to work independently and in an organized manner within a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
