Transport Driver Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective transport services focusing on safety, operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness and time management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental practices and procedures
  • Load and unload feed, nets, fish stock and operational inventory
  • Maintain equipment and yard operations
  • Assist with net maintenance, rope work and other shore-based activities
Requirements:
  • Hold a current Heavy Vehicle Licence and possess proven experience
  • Hold a Certificate of Competency for a CV Crane and Dogging Licence
  • Have a thorough understanding of laws covering dangerous goods transport, crane operation, dogging duties and forklift operation
  • Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
  • Display thorough organisational skills and ability to prioritise and schedule work effectively
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving abilities with an outcome focus

Aquaculture or fishing industry experience will be highly regarded.
