Merchandise Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

In this newly created position, you will work closely with the Loyalty Merchandise Manager to provide operational support for Rebel's Member Engagement Commercial Strategy.

The role will support the delivery and execution of member engagement strategies by providing merchandise inputs to deliver relevant, personalized offers and experiences for the Rebel active member base, to improve club growth, retention, and increase frequency and ATV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Financial Performance: Assist in delivering sales, profit, and agreed loyalty and merchandise deliverables.
  • Loyalty and Personalisation Operations: Support the development and execution of loyalty and personalisation strategies.
  • Trade Partner/Vendor Management: Collaborate with Trade Partners to co-create loyalty benefits and product offers and assist in negotiation and management of Trade Partner funding to supplement Rebel loyalty and personalisation activities.
  • Marketing and Advertising: Work with CRM, marketing, online, and visual merch teams to deliver engaging and successful campaigns both above the line and below the line, and ensure promotional plans are implemented effectively.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Category management/buying experience within a retail environment.
  • Exposure and a passion for marketing – particularly within the loyalty/CRM space.
  • A high degree of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An analytical mindset.
  • A strong ability in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
