Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Youth Justice Case Manager. In this role, you will contribute to the rehabilitation of young people in the justice system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the rehabilitation of young people in the justice system.
  • Understand and apply the principles of case management, utilizing a range of assessments and interventions relevant to the background and needs of the young person.
  • Empathize with and be culturally aware of different cultures.
  • Confidently manage stakeholders and negotiate effectively to develop and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for contributing to the rehabilitation of young people in the justice system is essential.
  • Understanding of the youth justice system, the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and associated policies and guidelines is required.
  • Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work is highly desirable.
  • Full driver's licence is required due to emergencies across the state at short notice and outside business hours.
  • Current employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card is mandatory.
