We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Justice Case Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting young people to make positive changes in their lives and reducing crime in the community.
About the Role:
The Youth Justice Case Manager will provide case management and support services to young people in the youth justice system. This will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions, utilising assessments and interventions relevant to the background and needs of each young person, and demonstrating empathy and cultural awareness in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management and support services to young people in the youth justice system
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions

- Demonstrate empathy and cultural awareness in all interactions
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a passion for contributing to the rehabilitation of young people in the justice system, as well as an understanding of the youth justice system, including relevant policies and guidelines. They will also have knowledge of case management principles and practices, empathy and cultural awareness, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work
- Other tertiary qualifications at Diploma level or above, including units of study in case management/casework practice
- Supervised practical work placements
Working Requirements:
- Full driver's licence
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) card
