Job Summary

This role focuses on driving strategic communications and partnership development to advance genomic innovation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy, encompassing media outreach, content creation, and social media engagement.
  • Foster key partnerships by managing engagements and drafting project proposals for philanthropic, industry, government, and research partners.
  • Enhance the organization's digital presence by maintaining and updating websites with unique, engaging content that promotes programs and partnerships.
  • Produce in-depth reports on projects, partnerships, grants, and philanthropic contributions.
Necessary Qualifications
  • A degree with significant experience in communications or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex information both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, capable of managing diverse groups and competing demands.
  • High-level organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, EDM, and website management platforms.
  • Prior experience in the higher education or research sector is desirable.
