- We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to take ownership of end-to-end Australia & New Zealand payroll processing.
- The successful candidate will have proven experience in processing ANZ payrolls, SAP experience and previous leadership experience managing a small team.
- The role involves overseeing the end-to-end processing of payroll for Australia & New Zealand, leading a small payroll team, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements and upskilling your team to meet the evolving demands of the business.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of AU and NZ payroll regulations and associated payroll best practices to ensure full compliance. They will also have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams, detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and process optimisation.
Responsibilities:- End-to-end processing of payroll for Australia & New Zealand.
- Lead a small payroll team, providing hands-on support, guidance and development.
- Compliance focus with in-depth local and international payroll regulations.
- Identify and drive process improvements to streamline payroll operations.
- Manage complex payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance and other departments to ensure smooth payroll processing.
- Develop and mentor your team members, helping them grow in their roles.
- Assist with regular audits and reporting to ensure accurate payroll records.
