Recruitment Coordinator, Early Careers Specialist

As a Recruitment Coordinator, Early Careers at Herbert Smith Freehills in Melbourne, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for coordinating the national Early Careers program. Your primary objective will be to provide coordination support to the team for vacation clerk and graduate recruitment.

In this varied and busy role, you will enhance the experience for students and internal stakeholders through all stages of the recruitment process. Reporting to the Early Careers Manager, you will work closely with other members of the HR team and liaise directly with partners and lawyers.

Your tasks will include application screening, recruitment system administration (Workday), managing the early careers inbox, organising interviews and psychometric assessments with candidates, collating interview and vacation clerkship feedback, coordinating and managing HR processes for vacation clerks and graduates, assisting with the coordination of vacation clerkship programs nationally, preparing marketing collateral, coordinating social media channels, coordinating and managing events during the clerkship process, attending campus recruitment events, and liaising with speculative candidates and current graduates.

To succeed in this role, you will have unrestricted working rights in Australia, previous experience in a recruitment or HR coordinator role, strong attention to detail and organisational skills, ability and confidence to interact with people at all levels, excellent communication skills, effective planning, scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to network and build positive working relationships both internally and externally.
