We're seeking a Support Worker to join our Parramatta Hub, where you'll play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to achieve their goals.
As a Support Worker, you'll work collaboratively with our team to deliver person-centred programs, assisting clients to live independently, participate in their community, and engage in meaningful opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community
- Working to behaviour support plans using positive behaviour strategies
- Assisting and supporting clients with personal and hygiene care
- Communicating with families about clients' progress
- Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping
About You
We're looking for a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of people with disability. As a Support Worker, you'll demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people.
Essential qualifications include experience in the Disability sector and demonstrated knowledge of supporting high needs clients. A driver's license and vehicle are also required.
