Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Security Specialist to join our team at Superior People Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of security systems and technologies, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Integrated Security projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, including testing and commissioning, on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. You will also be involved in programming security systems configurations, diagnosing errors or technical problems, and determining proper solutions.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in the Electronic Security Industry, with sound knowledge of executing fit-out of Integrated Security Systems (Access Control, CCTVs, etc.) at customer sites. They will also be experienced in installing security systems like S2, C-cure, Gallagher, Lenel, Milestones, etc., and hold a technical certificate or diploma in Electrical or Electronics engineering.

A strong understanding of project management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential for this role. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Projects including Testing and Commissioning, On-Site Installation, Repair, Maintenance and Test Tasks
  • Programming of Security Systems Configurations
  • Diagnose Errors or Technical Problems and Determine Proper Solutions
  • Produce Timely and Detailed Reports
  • Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Activity on Existing Systems
  • Installing Small Additions and Changes to Existing Systems
  • Undertake Surveys and Assist in the Preparation of Pricing for Works Required to Customer Sites
  • Continual Optimization of Service Delivery and Procedures
  • Compliance with KPI's, Procedures and Reporting Requirements
