Water Utility System Maintenance Assistant

The Utility System Specialist Trainee position offers an excellent opportunity to join a team of professionals responsible for maintaining and repairing water, wastewater, and reclaimed water utility system lines and lift stations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the repair, installation, and maintenance of utility system lines and lift stations
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in plumbing, construction, or mechanical repair and/or maintenance of industrial mechanical equipment
- Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
- Valid Florida driver's license required
- Ability to physically perform job duties, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy loads
- May work at heights, below ground level, in cold, damp, hot, humid, dusty, noisy, or hazardous environments
- May work alone or with others, inside or outside, on ladders or scaffolding, and on uneven surfaces
