Operations Supervisor

Optimising logistics efficiency requires meticulous planning and execution. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a logistics site, ensuring seamless coordination and safe practices in accordance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise warehouse staff and truck drivers to guarantee efficient operations and high-quality customer service.
  • Coordinate daily customer loading and deliveries, including managing sub-contractors involved in the process.
  • Ensure compliance with processes for stock placement, site cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and stakeholders through open communication and problem-solving.
  • Support team members in their roles, providing training and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10+ years' experience in logistics or a similar field, with a strong background in people management and operational oversight.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fatigue management, mass management, and OH&S protocols.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP, WMS & TMS systems and experience operating front-end loaders.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external partners and internal teams.
