Job Description:

As a Senior Care Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that residents receive exceptional care and support. Your primary focus will be on providing leadership and coaching to clinical and personal care teams, while also ensuring compliance with quality standards and policies.

You will work closely with the Residential Manager to provide clinical leadership and support, and contribute to the development of care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times
  • Providing leadership and coaching to clinical and support teams
  • Working in a safe manner, following all policies and procedures
  • Assisting the Residential Manager with day-to-day operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process
  • Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others
  • Strong customer-centric approach to business
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
