Job Title: Support Assistant - Elderly Care

A support assistant is required for our elderly care service. As a support assistant, you will provide daily living assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

The role involves assisting clients with personal care, domestic duties, social interaction, and transportation. The ideal candidate will have experience in community or residential care, including domestic support, and possess relevant qualifications such as Cert III/IV in Individual Support or Aged Care.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality care services, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding.
  • Domestic Assistance: Clean, do laundry, prepare meals, perform light gardening, and organize homes.
  • Social & Emotional Support: Facilitate connections through activities and technology.
  • Transport: Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and community events.

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold current First Aid certification, a valid driver's license, and insured vehicle. Full COVID-19 vaccination is highly desirable.
