Project Coordinator for Digital Preservation

We are seeking a Digital Collections Project Analyst to work within the Digital Curation team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing international standards and good practice relating to preservation of digital materials in a library or archive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development and implementation of a collaborative project with other institutions to pilot a shared solution for digital preservation, storage, and access.
- Implement international standards and best practices related to preservation of digital materials in a library or archive environment.
- Use and manage digital preservation systems and other software and hardware tools used in digital preservation activities.
- Experience in implementing PREservation Metadata: Implementation Strategies (PREMIS) metadata standard for digital collections is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in information management and the management of born-digital collections.
- Awareness of technical specifications and file formats for digital preservation is essential.
