About the opportunityProvide specialist advice and expertise, including technical understanding, on the long-term management and curation of digital collections, including research data. Develop guidelines, procedures, and training to ensure digital content created or curated by the Library is managed, described, and formatted to provide long-term meaningful access for future researchers, students, and scholars.
About you- Previous work experience on digital collections, digitisation projects, and/or digital preservation.
- Expertise and understanding of library, archival, or preservation repository systems, services, and requirements, including metadata, standards, workflows, resource description, rights, and permissions.
- Approaches work as a strong collaborator with great initiative as a project manager and good attention to detail.
- Supports the ongoing development of high-quality, client-focused digital curation services.
- Provides specialist technical advice on digital preservation to the University community.
- Actively contributes to team and Library culture and values.
