About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, managing and maintaining internet gateway and large scale data centre networking environments.

  • Designing and implementing infrastructure requirements to meet future demand.
  • Providing expert technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation such as design documentation, implementation plans, test plans, and support procedures.
Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and evaluating infrastructure requirements to meet future demand.
  • Providing expert technical advice and support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies, operational policy and procedures, and change initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in the design, management and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large scale data centre networking environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and deployment of network infrastructure including Cisco Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, Nexus switches, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services.

  • Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and deployment of network infrastructure including Cisco Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, Nexus switches, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions; VPN technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services; development and maintenance of system architecture and design documentation.
