About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team on a night shift at our Tamworth site. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

The successful candidate will have experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation, and multi-channel environments. You will be well-versed in warehouse management systems and possess good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team management: developing, leading, and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • You will lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you will be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant while keeping your people safe
  • You will actively manage your available resource, and utilize staff where possible
  • Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers

Requirements
  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation, and multi-channel environments
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
