About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader with innovative thinking to join our team. You will be responsible for managing daily operations effectively, ensuring production priorities align with quality standards, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Safety First: Champion and enforce safety protocols to achieve outstanding performance outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations effectively, ensuring production priorities align with quality standards, budgets, and forecasts.
  • People Leadership: Lead and inspire staff and contractors through hands-on management and mentorship.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the site adheres to all licensing, consent, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Contribution: Play a key role in strategic planning and execution of both short-term and long-term Capital Works and maintenance.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in Quarrying Operations or Mining, along with strong leadership skills. Relevant Site Senior Executive (SSE) notice is also required. Additionally, you should have experience in developing and managing budgets, with a focus on controlling expenditure and costs. LEAN manufacturing experience is highly desirable, as is relevant Quarry management qualifications and/or tertiary education.
