Lifestyle Coordinator Role

This role plays a pivotal part in our community, focusing on the dignity, life and spirituality of seniors through connected and inclusive environments.

  • Develop, plan and implement lifestyle activities and programs that guarantee residents' social, psychological, recreational cultural and spiritual wellbeing.
About the Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities.
  • Conduct thorough resident assessments to gain insight into each resident's preferences and needs.
  • Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents, involving the wider community, volunteers and residents' family and friends.
  • Act as team leader, providing coaching, supervision and guidance to the lifestyle team.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, protecting yourself, your colleagues and residents while closely following all policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A compassionate heart and passion for delivering exceptional care to seniors.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong coaching/training skills.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
  • Proficiency in IT – essential skill for the position.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
