About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Support Engineer to join our Engineering Field Support Partnership Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert technical advice and support to our construction, testing, and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide RPEQ professional engineering advice and technical support for construction, testing, and maintenance activities.
  • Support the delivery of the Integrated Works Program, including technical coaching, training, and technical briefing of field staff.
  • Investigate and report on plant failures and plant conditions, providing advice and recommendations for timely return-to-service decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in the area of Electrical.
  • Detailed knowledge of substation asset construction, testing, and maintenance activities.
  • Experience providing expert technical advice and recommendations.
