About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet tenant needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet tenant needs.
  • Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns promptly and fostering a welcoming community.
  • Leasing Management: Oversee the leasing process, including marketing vacant units, conducting property tours, and handling lease agreements.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance requests and property repairs.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing property budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about local market trends and rental rates to help set competitive pricing and attract new tenants.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes and fair housing laws.

About You:

  • Experience: 2+ years of property management experience, preferably with both residential and commercial properties.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and enhancing tenant satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with tenants, vendors, and team members.
  • Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenges efficiently and effectively.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management software and tools, along with a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred but not required.
