About the Role

As a Technical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and integrating secure ICT systems.

  • Apply your skills in security-accredited ICT system development, integration, and deployment.
  • Work closely with technical teams to provide IT support for mission planning systems.
  • Ensure the sustainment, security, and evolution of ICT systems across fixed and deployed environments.
Key Responsibilities May Include
  • Supporting the development, introduction to service, sustainment, and enhancement of mission planning software and hardware.
  • Maintenance and configuration of servers, networking hardware, and laptops.
  • Installing, configuring, testing, and deploying software solutions.
  • Providing support on Defence strategic networks and identifying technical risks.
  • Assisting with security accreditation activities for Mission Planning Systems and contributing to program documentation and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong technical skills in ICT system development, integration, and deployment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to identify and manage technical risks.
  • Familiarity with Defence strategic networks and security accreditation processes.
