Project Lead Role in Energy Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our operational technology initiatives that support safe, reliable, and sustainable energy generation across the state.

About the Position

The Project Lead will oversee the delivery of a portfolio of OT projects spanning generation sites and corporate systems. The role involves working closely with engineering, IT, and site operations teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of OT programs across multiple energy generation sites
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across technical, operational, and executive levels
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget, and timeline expectations
  • Coordinate site travel and on-ground project activities with minimal disruption to operations
  • Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation across OT systems and processes

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex OT or ICS programs in asset-intensive industries e.g. energy, utilities, mining, or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of SCADA, PLCs, telemetry, and cybersecurity in operational environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in government-owned or regulated environments is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel to regional sites as required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs
  • Relevant qualifications in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) and/or asset management
