Strategic Commercial Leader Job Description

This role involves providing commercial guidance and strategic oversight for the management of Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading commercial requests, allocating tasks to the team, and ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality outcomes.

You will also lead the team in monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, as well as proactively identifying and mitigating commercial risks.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile water infrastructure projects and contribute to securing Water for Life for generations to come.

  • Commercial Oversight: Provide strategic commercial guidance across all phases of IPCD contracts.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the team in managing commercial requests and allocating tasks.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree in Business, Law, or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least 10 years' experience in commercial agreements within major infrastructure delivery.
  • Proven experience in contracts or commercial management in the infrastructure or construction sectors.

Appointment to this role is subject to a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
