Position Summary
The role of the Mechatronics Engineer is crucial in the design, development, implementation, and operation of intelligent automated systems within the truck trailer manufacturing framework. This position necessitates a comprehensive integration of mechanical, electronic, and computational disciplines to improve manufacturing workflows, product innovation, and system functionality. You will work closely with the Production and Project Engineering Manager and engage collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing teams, senior leadership, and key external partners.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the setup, calibration, and evaluation of mechatronic systems and equipment in both production processes and final products. You will be tasked with diagnosing issues and optimizing these systems to guarantee their reliability and efficiency. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in mechatronics technology will be essential, as you will assess their relevance to current operations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for generating comprehensive technical documentation, such as design specifications, operational manuals, and user guides, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Robotics Engineering.
- Proven experience in mechatronics engineering, ideally within the automotive, transportation, or manufacturing sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in CAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a creative, innovative mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
