Job Title: Graduate Development Lead

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative leader to design, coordinate, and manage the rollout of National Graduate Programs across our network.

This role is responsible for ensuring that graduate programs are future-focused, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with best practices observed both externally and internally.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting research and gathering perspectives from various stakeholders on graduate development best-practices
  • Supporting the development and management of the OneHealthscope approach to graduate experience
  • Supporting the development and review of success measures to ensure alignment with wider objectives and achievement of anticipated benefits
  • Designing and managing national graduate programs, including specialty programs (e.g. ICU, Mental Health, theatres, etc.)
  • Managing intake timings and rotation standards across sites
  • Designing, managing, and annually reviewing standardized graduate supporting resources (e.g. 'welcome to Healthscope' collateral, orientation material, other collateral)
  • Sharing available external resources with sites (e.g. ANSAT standards)
  • Developing and reviewing guidelines for graduate support models, including defining role expectations, supernumerary standards, and roster requirements
  • Designing and deploying a Healthscope 'Preceptor framework,' including role expectations, responsibilities, standards, resources, and training required for Healthscope preceptors

  • Strong project and program management capabilities
  • Effective communication, active listening, and influencing skills
  • Exceptional relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Able to tailor communication to different audiences
  • Learning design and development skills aligned to ADDIE principles
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute multiple concurrent activities
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology
  • Able to think beyond one program to the end-to-end learning experience
