Pastoral Care Coordinator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Care Coordinator to deliver high-quality pastoral care services to our residents and clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing personal spiritual support and pastoral care services in line with individual preferences and our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pastoral care services to residents and clients, ensuring their cultural and spiritual wellbeing is maintained.
  • Supporting mission formation activities within the residential aged care home.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • Certification III or IV in Pastoral Care or related qualifications in theology or spirituality.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Catholic faith principles, particularly as they relate to dignity of life and aged care.
  • Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly, as well as their family members.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
