Job Title

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide entry points to alcohol and other drugs services for people with AOD issues who reside in the Loddon Mallee. As an AOD Assessment Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing client need, identifying treatment options, and creating holistic treatment pathways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client need and identify treatment options
  • Create holistic treatment pathways
  • Provide interim support to clients awaiting assessment and treatment commencement
  • Liaise with allied health and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary medical and other healthcare records
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or related discipline
  • Minimum qualification Diploma Community Services
  • Relevant experience in a social service environment
  • AOD Skillset or willingness to undertake within the first 12 months of commencing employment
  • Current VIC Drivers Licence
  • Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check
  • Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
