Job Title: Digital Commerce Strategist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced online team as a Digital Commerce Strategist. Your role will involve managing product catalogues, coordinating online promotions, analysing sales performance and responding to market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily reports on brands' sales performance in trade meetings
  • Conduct competitive analysis on best practices of key competitors and international ecommerce leaders
  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal reports as required
  • Collaborate with brand and web design teams on email marketing plans to optimise appeal and conversion
  • Ensure all products advertised have adequate stock
  • Coordinate eDM material deadlines against agreed schedules with brand and web design teams
  • Execute promotional activities accurately and within deadlines to ensure websites are aligned with store activity
  • Develop and manage merchandising standards that drive conversion and improve the customer shopping experience
  • Identify opportunities in product assortment based on merchandise, sales and customer behaviour
  • Drive sales, conversion and revenue by effectively merchandising products and helping customers navigate to the right products quickly and easily
  • Manage accurate and up-to-date online catalogues and range products online as soon as they arrive in the business
  • Ensure products are merchandised daily according to brand online merchandising principles
  • Manage markdowns and outlet products, product titles and descriptions, and coordinate pre-styling days with product teams
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of the retail industry and relevant KPIs
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to easily adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in online or ecommerce
  • Willingness to learn and develop strong working relationships with key functions within the business
  • Proactive and has a sense of urgency
  • Ability to operate interdependently and enjoy working in a fast, lean, business-oriented brand function
