Insurance Claims Assessor | Property Expert

We're seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Assessor to join our team in this key role. As a Senior Property Assessor, you'll be responsible for maintaining timely delivery of property claims outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations throughout the life of a claim.
You'll liaise with claimants, repairers, and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision-making and life-of-claim outcomes. Your expertise will also include assessing indemnity, liability of claims, costs, and the validity of building and remediation scope of works.
A key aspect of this role is your ability to assess remediation and make-safe claims and costs, as well as reviewing building and remediation cause-of-damage reports, including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
To succeed in this position, you'll require:
- Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF
- Extensive property assessing and customer service experience
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of theories and practices of Insurance and loss
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
