About The Role
We're seeking a Senior Property Claims Assessor to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely and high-quality property claims outcomes that meet customer expectations.
- Liaise with stakeholders to drive decision-making and achieve successful claim outcomes.
- Assess indemnity, liability, costs, and validity of building and remediation scope of works.
- Review building and remediation cause of damage reports, including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
- Identify defects and non-compliance repairs utilising Australian Standards and National Construction Code.
About You
- Hold building trade qualifications or a Loss Assessor qualification from ANZIIF.
- Have extensive property assessing and customer service experience.
- Excel in technical knowledge of insurance and loss theories and practices.
- Plan, prioritise, and manage tasks effectively to meet competing demands.
- Demonstrate evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
