Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled Workshop Technicians to deliver exceptional service, ensuring efficiency and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Drive workplace safety culture, promoting compliance with WHS responsibilities and fostering a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Liaise with technical support staff to coordinate diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work, leveraging expertise to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage work schedules effectively, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities, empowering employees to make informed decisions and contributing to their professional growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, addressing machine performance, product quality, and warranty-related concerns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor, driving achievements and exceeding set goals.
  • Australian diesel or mobile plant trade qualifications, recognized by relevant authorities.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety, aligning with Hitachi's Safety Culture principles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Technical knowledge of Hitachi mining and construction equipment, preferred but not essential.
