Urgent Opportunity to Support National Security in Australia

Mechanical Fitters required for Operations & Maintenance team at HMAS Albatross in the Shoalhaven Region of NSW.

The role involves performing scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment, diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment, project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment, and support subcontracted work packages as required.

Key qualifications include trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience, proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas, experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded, confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded, and safety is at the forefront of everything you do.

  • Schedule:
  • Full-time position based at HMAS Albatross in the Shoalhaven Region of NSW.
  • Occasional regional travel across NSW may be required.
  • Requirements:

  • Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded.
